I live in a 3-BR mobile home. At the front of the trailer are my son's room, my room, a bath, and the heater/AC closet. For some odd reason, our two BRs, closest to the AC closet, are the most difficult to keep cool. The rest of the house is fine, I often wear a sweat jacket in the LR. But in the two BRs I have to run the ceiling fans on at least medium and incorporate a floor fan. This should not be. By my simple logic, I see the problem as kinked ducting, which would be a bear of a job to rectify. But before I go to extremes, does anybody have any clue as to what else it may be?

No, only one of the rooms gets direct sun and that's only in the morning. This is all overhead ducting so I suppose that means one would have to hack away at the ceiling, make a big mess, and then correct the problem. Maybe a coupling came undone? Is it possible to diagnose the problem without the mess?

make and model of which: the AC unit or the mobile home. I'm pretty sure the info is on the AC unit itself but I'm not sure about the mobile home. Isn't there a plaque somewhere that has all the necessary info? I've looked around the trailer and have not found one.

"Yes, you really have to find out the MAKE and MODEL to get good answers. There IS more than one machine made."

if you've ever read his posts you would know that is his tradmark saying at end of each signoff.
