We recently purchased a cabin (750 sq.)

Main heat source is a wood stove and a product called Ceileria (outside compressor for heat and air with inside unit to blow air).

This Ceileria works on a compressor, it shuts off when tempature is reached but the fan unit inside runs all the time. I don't feel comfortable leaving this one on while we are gone, which could be Monday-Friday. This is not a permanent home and we would only be there on the weekends, at least 3 out of 4/month.

So I need something that will heat the cabin to keep pipes from freezing while we are gone. I am considering baseboard installation - can someone help me in expected costs, how many units do I need? I want to hard wire, with thermostat - is this expensive? Is there duct work involved.

Or is there another alternative for us to use that is safe and effective and not too costly - shurt on funds with recent purchase of home. Thanks.

Thank you so much for the response and you do have a point. So you are saying this will not hurt the fan unit run continuiously like that?

I spoke to a sales person at the Celiera company who was not very helpful, do you have a contact that I might be able to talk to?

Here is my Model: KF(R)-66GW/BP(X)

Cooling Capacity(BTU/Hr): 24000

EER(BTU/W.Hr): 9-15

Noise Level(dB(A)) Indoor unit: 40-50

Air Volume(M3/Hr.) Indoor unit: 900-1000

It is a split unit.
