Hello All,

I recently purchased a home and noticed that water was coming from the wall in the basement. I immediately ripped out the wall and found a condensation tube leading back to the furnace. There was quite a bit of water that had been coming out of it (approximately a half a glass to glass full a day). My question is where is the condensation drain/tube supposed to go? Is it to drain outside (in a pvc pipe) or is it to be tied into a drain in the house (i.e. laundry drain)? I live in an area where the temperatures are generally below 30 degrees in the heart of winter. I appreciate any and all feedback.
