i touched the 24volt wires together and now no power,cant find fuse on goodman air hondler

it is a goodman clj30ar32 i think

its an ar32 and the transformer is 19.36 i can do that..i traced the wires and found the power stops at the transformer,but dont know if its should have power if the tstat is not hooked up

i do think it is the transformer,,should i go the extra step and add an inline fuse
