I am finishing a room in my basement, the size is approx. 18 x 24. Currently there is one register cut into one of the supply ducts. I was thinking I should have a cold air supply also in the basement room and it should be on the opposite side of the room from the supply vent. Is this the best idea? Should the cold air return be near the floor since the supply vent will be in the ceiling?
