I have a forced hot air heating system (oil). I have 3/4 tank of oil. The emergency switch is on and the circuit breakers are fine.....

the problem....

My furnace kicks on and then the reset button trips. When pushed back on the furnace kicks back on and then shuts off and there is a lot of "oil smoke" that comes out of it. It seems like it is not getting any spark to ignite the oil. What could be the culprit? Thank you
