Does anyone out their know where I can get help with getting a heating system for my home.I am disabled and on a limited income. Right now in the winter I have to heat with my kitchen oven. I live in Northampton County, Woodland, NC. I applied with a nonprofit called CADA for the winterazation program but was told it was to intailed for them. Rural Development told me they did not have funds at this time.

Any idea's will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

If you have an older furnace, and are buying/refinancing an older home- especially wanting to save money - there is a GREAT FHA mortgage program- that replaces your outdated system with a brand new one including a warranty. All with no out of pocket costs!!! Look at this site for information: http://www.eemdirect.com/

These are some pretty good suggestions. I would try the advice given above, but if you don't have any luck with that, I certainly wouldn't give up. Another avenue you can try is asking your church for assistance. In most cases they would be more than happy to help an elderly person with problems such as yours. Another option, could be simply to finance a new HVAC system. I know there are companies out there that will help you with this. I would contact the companies in your area to see what options you might have. Airtron Indy is one such company that comes to mind. I don't know if they would be able to give you the help that you need, but it certainly wouldn't hurt to look into it. Good luck!

I've been looking into finding a reliable Cincinnati air conditioning servicer, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone have recommendations?

I'm looking for the same thing in my area, it's just been hard to find a good Cincinnati air conditioning company that has really great service and won't charge every time they come out to make a fix.

I'm not sure about a contractor, but I did find some air conditioning tips online about how to reduce costs and do basic maintenance on your system.
