I have an outlet that is controlled via a switch. I want to install a ceiling fan and want to use the existing wall switch. The outlet I want to make unswitched (fully live). The switch has a Black and a Red wire. The outlet has White and Red on top, White and Black on the bottom. Explain this to me as simple as possible since I am not educated in Electrical wiring. Thanks for any possible help!

Splice the red and the black together, this will make your receptacle "constant hot."
Then you splice a little piece of wire to the red and black so you can supply power to the switch to your new fan and then splice your white wire from your fan to the whites in the box.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE:
DO NOT CRAM ALL THESE WIRES INTO THE BOX. If they do not fit in there nicely with room to breath you must replace the box with a larger one
