Some times a loud click is heard above or in an overhead light fixture, even if that light is not turned on. No blown bulbs, fuses, or other problem, just a noise - sometimes. Checked wiring, voltage, frequency, changed one switch - no luck?

Can you give more information? Is the fixture fluorescent or incandescent? Is there another floor above the ceiling? Is it a house or apartment or some other type building? etc.
Is it always the same time of day? How frequently does it happen? Is there a furnace or other equipment up there?
