I have a problem with the house lights momentarily dimming every time the central A/C unit comes on. Is this a problem with the supplied current to the house?

Have your a/c checked out. It may be pulling to many amps. Either from a bad compressor or fan motor or the starting capacitor for them went bad.

Could also be a bad connection.
