Under Tile Electrical Radiant heat for Bathroom?

I posted this in the HVAC and Bathroom forums without any luck, maybe someone here would know the answer.

A few months ago on one of the DYI shows, I saw an electrical heating system for bathrooms without heating ducts. Putting it simply, it was like a giant heating pad (about 6'x6' and about 1/4 to 1/2" thick) that installed under the ceramic tile. The concept was that it heated the ceramic tile, and provided radiant heat. Has anyone heard of such a product? If so, where can I find them, what are the called, etc. Any help would be Greatly appreciated.

I have seen those electric underfloor mats advertised in Fine Homebuilding magazine. You might go to a decent magazine rack and look through a copy. Good luck.

you can choose 120volt mats, 230volt mats both are installed in thinset before you install the tile. you also can use the cables to heat the area or just to warm the floors. the cable needs to be screeded with a mud bed then you thinset your tile down. you can see the applications and prices at www.WarmFloorCenter.com
