I would like to install 2 sconces-the interior wall is an outside wall--can you tell me what materials I will need to run the wiring along the baseboards to the light switch on the far wall and step by step on how to do it--thanks so much

If you really want to run wire along the baseboard, they make "channels" (probably not the right term) you can buy that attach to the wall and contain the wiring. Go to the electrical dept. of your hardware and ask for help. (This stuff is not conduit.)
On the other hand, you might want to think about running the wire up or down the wall and into the crawl space or attic. That way, nothing will show.

I think you are refering to Panduit (not sure of correct spelling) comes in colors and has a metal channel, corners, cover, electrical boxes, etc.
