Panel breaker buzzing; what's the cause?

I woke up this morning, went out in the garage, out back to check the pool. When I came back in the garage, I heard a buzzing noize.

The overhead florescent light wasn't on.

Upon further examination, I found the buzzing to be coming from the breaker panel. As a quick reaction, I turned off the wall switch powering the pool pump. What do you know?

The buzzing stopped.

I turned the wall switch back on, and the buzzing at the breaker returned.

What would make a breaker buzz? I've never had a breaker do this before. The breaker is only about two months old.

It is a single 15-amp GE standard 3/4"

The breaker may be resonating the normal 60 cycles that your power has. Get an electrician to look at it. Tim

It's easy and inexpensive to replace the breaker. I'd start there. Probably will be fine.

I recommend you get a qualified electrician to do this job.
If you are not extremely careful and knowledgeable with working inside a breaker panel with the "Live Exposed Buss" get an electrician.
