Fuse box in garage

I have connected a fuse box in the garage, but everytime I switch it on the fuse blows, at the moment nothing is connected, I did have lights connected that worked okay as long as I did not try to switch them off, these have now been discoonnected, could the problem be the wiring between the house and the fuse box in the garage?

You've provided almost no useful information to assist in troubleshooting your problem.

Look in the Yellow Pages under "Electrical Contractors", pick one & call them. After all, we do have to work once in awhile to pay for all the coffee & donuts we consume.

What Tom O said. No offense intended, but adding a fuse box is something an electrician should generally do, especially if you do not know what pertinent details to include in your question.
