I am going to be doing most of my own electrical work on a new construction project this spring. I have acquired a bunch of 15 and 20 amp Cutler Hamer breakers and a 200 amp pannel out of a house that was torn down. As far as I know this stuff worked until they flipped the breaker and started swinging the wrecking ball. Does anyone know why I shouldn't use this stuff?

You didn't say if this is to be in your house. I don't know what the laws and codes say about that, but I think you should only use that equipment if you're building your own house. Then, if it has probleme, they're your problems - not somebody elses.
