The electric panel is located on one side of the basement. Wires run from the panel through the floor joists to the other side of the basement. 1. The wires, about 12 of them, all run through one hole in each floor joist - is it OK to bunch the wires like this or should they be separated? Also, these wires run over and under a few heating ducts. There is no separation between the wires and the ducts - is this OK? or should i be concerned that the wire insulation could melt.
