I just purchased a house that has gray soffits. The soffit color does not go well with the color of the roof. Is there anyway that these can be painted and still be effective in providing attic ventilation (not clogging the holes to allow air passage)? If this is not an option, can they be replaced as a DIY project? The flashing is also gray.
