I'm installing a new light fixture in my bathroom. The fixture itself came with 18 gauge wiring, but the "power" line coming from the wall is 16 or larger, I'm not quite sure. Is this going to be a problem?

If you did not change the wire size in the ceiling you will not have a problem. It is fine and normal for fixtures to have a smaller wire.

Thanks a lot. Yeah I left everything the same. I was just wondering because it was tough to get the wires to "twist" together before wire nutting them, so I though something might be wrong.

Hi tl5garth,

I'm not an electrician, but....try NOT twisting before wire nutting. I've had better luck just putting the wires side-by-side and letting the wire nut do the work.
