I recently moved into a new house and would like to reconfigure some outlets. My question, i have an outlet that operates off of a switch and would like to make one recepticle constantly hot and the other operate off of the switch. can I do this? if so, How?

Yes you can do it.

How you do it depends on how the receptacle is currently connected.

If you can turn off the power and tell me all the wires connected to the receptacle and the switch I should be able to help you.

Also tell me if you want to run the cables for the new receptacles from the existing receptacle or the switch box.
