I have a pot light over the sink in my kitchen...is it possible to convert that to a pendent (hanging) fixture?

and.......... How? :

A hanging fixture can use the same wiring and switch, but it'll take some work to remove the pot, wire in the hanging light, and especially to fill or cover the hole left by the pot.
