We have the old glass fuse style elecrical system. We just realized that we have a 30 apm fuse in what is only suppose to be a 15 amp fuse. We would like to update the service to 200 and update the fuse box to a breaker box. Will this up the resale value of our house? And how much should we expect to spend? We have a family member who can do it all for us except the service to the house.

It will add the resale of house only because the buyer will most likely request it or a price reduction if you don't.
The cost of materials would probably be around $500 or less. A complete replacement including labor will vary according to your region. I will guess between $800 and $2000.
