- GE Low-Voltage Rocker Switch Replacements
you can find most of the low voltage switch plate covers and parts at
www.touchplate.com , they are very expensive, but it's the only place I can find that has what I need to replace my worn out switch plates in my 1958 or 1960 house. My house takes the 4000 series. They have many different styles and other low voltage products also.

I installed that system in my house also. It is a super system. Parts and switches are still available and in use. Contace GE Lighting, or you search on Google for GE Low Voltage and find info.
It is a rather expensive type system usually used in commercial buildings, schools, etc.

Don't bother with Touchplate.com. They claim that their switchplates are compatible with the GE switches, but they are NOT, so don't waste your money.
I found someone on eBay who CNC cuts replacement switch plates for the GE low-voltage switches. His name is Tom Farmer, and he owns Upstate CNC in NY. If you go on eBay and search for "Rare GE Low Voltage", you'll find that he sells 1-gang, 2-gang, and 3-gang plates, and if you contact him, he can make them from 40 different types of wood to match your home. I bought one just to try it, and it fits perfectly and looks great too. The image shows his replacement switch plate next to an actual GE low-voltage switch plate.
If you are like me, you have found that finding true GE switchplates is virtually impossible. I think that these are the next best thing.

I have a low voltage system in my home and have been collecting parts and pieces for years. I have original single, double and triple switch plate covers.
