I am remodeling a bathroom and want to use a heat lamp in the ceiling for warmth but every heat lamp I look at is very plain. Can someone tell me where I might find a designer Heat Lamp for the bath?

I don't think that my ceiling heat lamp does that much good. Maybe it is the bald head that is reflecting all of the heat.

Since you are redoing the bathroom I would look at putting in supplimental radiant floor heat.

My husband is convinced that radiant heat will cost and waste a lot of money plus we have a setback control on our house heat so if anyone takes an early morning shower the floor would not be heated up yet.....we have another bathroom in the house with a double heatlamp and it make it warm real fast. I just want something a little more jazzy for the new bath. (liked your reflecting comment)

The radiant floor units can be put on a thermostat/time clock to have it read for you.

But for the heat lamps go to a large lighting store and tell tham that you want to see their commercial lines.

It ahs been a while, but I think that I remember seeing chorme ones in hotels.
