BobVilla1 - hi, you should be able to mount the outdoor speakers yourself. You'll want to make sure the speaker wire connections are protected from the elements as much as possible. I've seen people use silicone caulk on the terminals to ensure a waterproof seal.

Now, your amp - if you've got lights and everything else seems to be working, then you've fried your output transistors (also called the finals). That can easily happen if the amp is turned on without speakers being hooked up to act as a load to the finals. You'll need to find a repair shop that can work on that brand of amp...those big transistors are fairly expensive and require special treatment when installing them. Sorry for the bad news. Unfortunately, Jim may be right. But first, make sure the speakers are turned on (most amps have some sort of speaker selector switch), then check for proper hookup of speaker wires, then look for fuses that may protect the speaker outputs. If all that fails, find a repair shop.

just a note about connecting and waterproofing the leads to the speaker terminals. First be sure that the polarity is the same on both ends of the speaker lead...For example black term on amp should be connected to black term on the speaker. Second DO NOT use Silicon sealant to waterproof the outdoor connections!!!!! Silicon seal is corosive to copper. Use a self vulcanizing tape and the cover with black electrical tape. If you use just the vinyl electrical tape it will draw in mositure and corode the connections.
