I am remodeling my kitchen and would like to move my oven to the other side of the room. My current electrical supply for the oven is a 3-wire connection and it's too short to extend to the new oven location. My question is whether I can just extend the connection (junction box under floor) or if I am required to run a new 4-wire line? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Unless your local jurisdictation has an exception,, I believe you will be required to run a 4-wire circuit for the oven provided it is a 120/240 volt unit. If the oven is a straight 240 Volt with ground you will probably be able to run a 3 wire circuit.

I would check with the local electrical inspector.
