We have 2 bedrooms that have no light fixtures and we want to install a celing fan in each room. The rooms have a light switch that controles a plug on the other wall. Can we just remove the wires from the plug and pull them up out of the wall and run them accros to were the opening will soon be cut to hang the light? If not what do we do? Thank you.
