A contractor (who is now long gone) cut the drywall too big and now the outlet over the vanity falls into the wall. Is there an over sized box or quick repair (besides cutting new drywall) for this? Thanks.

A lot depends on how much too big the hole is. There are no "oversized" boxes, but there are various ways to fix the problem, some of which would require some wall patching. Without seeing the problem, it is hard to tell you the best way to fix it. Is this an old work box or was it originally attached to the stud?

Hi. Thanks for the reply.

It is about 3/4" too big vertically. It is an old work box with the tabs that can flip and catch the drywall.
