Greetings!
I recently installed a sump box for a washing machine in the basement my house. Both the washing machine and the sump are plugged into the same outlet. The problem I have is the washer keeps tripping the outlet for no apparent reason. If I put the washer on a different gfci via an extention cord, it works fine and the sump wouldn't trip it. Now, however, it seems that even the sump box is tripping it. The basement is quite damp and when it rains hard a small amount of water will come in from one wall near the washer, but it's not in contact with the washer.
Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help!
