Do you know if there is a company that makes shingles similar to 5 quarter or 6 quarter wooden shakes in a material like ashphalt or fiberglass?
Thanks!

Hello,
Regret I don't know of any product made with such a thick profile. One of the reasons of course is cost of raw material. The other may be the amount of heat such a product would retain, making hot/cold expansion/contaction/stability a problem. Perhaps we can help you source a top quality cedar shake custom made to your thickness specifications. They can then be pressure impregnated with CCA. The treating company then gives up to a 40 year warranty against decay. We would be able to supply you mill direct rather retail, with no taxes @ www.woodroof.com. Thanks and good luck.
