I need to run service to a trailer house that is about 175 feet roughly from the meter. It has a 100amp box. What size wire do i need to run that far?

and because it is a trailer, you will need 4 wires (H, H, N, G). There are direct burial quadriplex cables available for use as a mobile home feeder. Ground rods will be required at the trailer.

Thanks kindly for the advice. I live in a very rural area and there are no code inspections done here. Basically the power company makes sure your meter is set up correctly and everything past that is up to you.

Another thing I was wondering, can I safely tie in my lightning rod ground to my power ground at the rod? Or should I run seperate rods?
