my electrician when running the main into the house under the ground he put water in the pvc pipe and said it's good it help cool the wires inside is that normal

In the US underground conduit is consider a WET LOCATION because moisture will condense in the cool conduit.

Thus a wire that is specified for use in WET AREAS must be used.

But the guy is an idiot for adding water to the conduit.

The proper size wire should be used to handle the heat with any water.

a wet type wire was used my biggest problem he put a metal junction box on the outside in the wall i'm planning to take it out and used a outdoor 4x6 box
