I am researching if installation of hardi plank siding over my existing asbestos siding is an option.
If so, could you recommend a resource on how to purchase and how to install hardi plank siding?
Much Thanks

No you should not. An asbestos abatement contractor should remove the asbestos siding. This is not a job you want to do yourself. Removal of asbestos siding will release asbestos fibers into the air and will create a health risk. Driving nails into the asbestos siding will also have the same effect. Believe me I know what I am talking about. I have worked with and installed asbestos siding many times (years ago) before it was known to be a health hazard.
