Corrugated metal roof, if you are talking about the classic material as is used in buildings, and Quonset huts is a lap seamed installation. The standing seam, as you probably know, is like a large channel with the flanges facing up, and butted together, with a capping strip over the flanges; thus the “standing seam”

Corrugated is definitely NOT standing seam. It looks different, installs different, and hgas lapped seams instead of standing seams.
