any special things to know (esp safety) about a building wired three phase (when changing plugs, working on lights, minor elect)

There are a number of different 3 phase systems.
120/208 Y
120/240 Delta with a high leg.
277/480 Y with separately derived 120.
480 Delta
There are lot of details that are unique to 3 phase such as keeping the 3 phase rotation correct and know which is the high leg. And light fixture wired with 277 volts.
As a MINIMUM get an electrican to go over your system and explain the detail of what you have and what you need to be concerned with.
Better yet have him to do the work.
