The controller on my Hunter 25739 ceiling fan doesn't work any more and I have never liked using the remote.

I would like to wire the fan to a 3-speed wall switch, but I don't have a wiring diagram.

I contacted Hunter fan company and was told it can't be done and that I would need to buy a new control module and remote from them.

Is there any other way to wire this motor to a wall switch?

Thanks.

Some ceiling fans have remote controls built into then. When this is done it is impractical remove the remote module and hard wire it. That type will not have a pull chain on it for control the fan and light.

Other are full fans and use a addon remote module. They will have pull chains. If that is what you have the black is fan power, the white is neutral, and light will be blue or I have also heard of black with white strips.

My fan does not have a pull chain, so I guess it can't be hardwired.

Thanks.
