Unfortunately, we need to replace shingles in late November(highs in the 30's to 40's). Old shingles (2 layers) will be removed. One contractor quotes fiberglass and another asphalt with a significant price difference favoring fiberglass(about 40% less). Which would be better thru the first winter and/or long term? Would appreciate other comments by anyone.
