Had a new roof and ridge vent professionally installed two years ago today. Had contractor here today to investigate dripping on floor. Discovered the entire roof is wet inside house. Went onto top of roof and found water/ice along entire length of ridge vent.

Heat house with wood stove.
Outside temp is 34`.
House is rancher and has cathedral ceiling
along one slope.
House is 30 years old and this is first
roof replacement.

Also, what is difference between R19 and R22
insulation?

I really appreciate any help anyone can offer with this problem, Tuocblue.
