I am planning some low voltage landscape lighting, and saw this information on electronic low voltage transformers http://www.pegasusassociates.com/Elec105W12VACTransformer.html. It says the output is 11.6 volts. The Low voltage transformers I have seen at Home Depot are very heavy, which means they are probably magnetic. Has anyone used electronic low voltage transformers for landscape lighting? If so, what was your experience and what disadvantages do they have? thanks much.
