I am installing new ceiling fans in a my home. There is a light wth one switch. I have installed another switch to run the fan. I total I have a black and white fronm the power. I have two sets of black and white from the switches and I have the wiring from the new fan with light kit. How will I wire this to make one switch run the light and one run the fan so that I do not have to run them at the same time.

It would have been better to replace the 2 wire cable with a 3 wire cable.
But first both white wires are remarked at each end to indicate that they are switch leg hots. You can use tape or makers. Any color but green, gray, or white, but you can use black or red which are commonly available.
Connect both remarked white wires to the incoming black. And one remarked white wire to one terminal of one switch. And the other to the other switch.
And one black to each switch.
One black will connect to the fan black (fan power). The other black will connect to the wire for the light, usually blue.
