I have a wood burning fireplace from Heatilator (Model EC36). I don't have a blower underneath the fireplace and am looking into getting one, but have some questions:

1) Do blowers actually make a difference? Currently only the area right next to the fireplace gets warm!

2) Can I buy any wood burning fireplace blower, or do I have to go through heatilator??

3) There is already a switch, which I believe goes to the fireplace. How hard will it be for me to wire the blower to the switch?
