I am in the process of preparing the surfaces to be painted. The kitchen cabinets have already been painted with a hard finish high gloss paint. My problem is that I don't know what type of paint (oil or acrylic latex base) is presently on the cabinets. Is there a way that I can determine the type of paint that is on the cabinets??? I need to know this before I apply any paint that may not be compatible. Thanx.
