Hi!
I have been stripping paint around our front door which had about 5 or six layers of paint and what I think was Calcimine (whitewash with mixture of gritty stuff) I removed almost 95 percent of the paint and am down to what I think if Fir, which is in great condition. It took chemical remover and lots of sanding to get it down. I am having trouble with the molding around the door, there is a 1/2 round molding around the entire door frame, which I just can't get close enough to strip or sand. Does anyone have any suggestions about getting the paint out, or how to stain over it? I really hate to have to have a mixture of paint and stain, although it may look pretty nice once it is done.
Thanks!
