We are in the process of repainting the walls but when we wash them or scrub the paint peels off. Any suggestions on how to remove the old paint as we have a lot of walls to do? Washing them seems time consuming and time we don't have. Sanding won't help, just gums up the sander.... Also how do you tell if you have lead paint our house is approximately 40 years old.
