I just finished sanding and skimcoating plaster walls that had previously been painted with textured paint (sand).

Because I'm new at this, I need to sand the walls smooth and would prefer to wetsand. What is the proper method to do this?

Once this is complete, do I need to prime the walls with anything special before I apply laytex paint?
