I'm constructing a mountain home/cabin for my daughter. The interior is white pine t&g.
She really likes the "natural look" of the pine now that the interior is finished. Is it absolutely necessary to coat these walls/ceiling, either with stain or clear poly, or is it okay to leave them as they are (an obvious money saver as well)?
