I would like to remove paint from an old outdoor porch prior to painting. The surface is wood and is around 50 years old. I have recieved various opinions on removing the paint correctly. scraping vs. power-washing. Will power-washing destroy or make holes in the wood or is that the correct way to remove paint properly form a wood surface, i.e. outdoor porch?
