Does anyone have any advice on stripping milk paint. I have a staircase that has a couple of layers of old oil (lead) based paint that comes off pretty easy w/ Peel-Away. But underneath, a beige calcium based layer that nothing will touch. I've heard of product by Behlen called P.D.E paint remover - I'm going to try that next.

Thanks.

Dear Jeff,

There is a company in MA that sells milk paint and associated products, it's called the milk paint company. I'll get the phone number for you tomorrow. It is a bear to remove.

If you apply another application of PEEL AWAY I and leave it on for 24/48 hours it will remove the milk paint. It is the only product that I know of that will do the job
