Has anyone had any experience whitewashing or using pigment on brick? If so is it a do it yourself project or better left to the professionals. We have an 80 year old house that has had some repairs thru the years and the brick colors don't match. Help!!

I don't know about white washing brick, but you can paint. Be sure to clean the brick well and get the proper primer for masonary, ask a pro paint store, calk any cracks with an exterior paintable calk, then use a quality exterior paint.

Be sure to think this out, once you paint it, its painted, very hard to undo.
