House built in 53'. Plaster/brownboard. 10 million coats of paint, all peeling down to raw plaster in good sized patches, exterior and interior walls, and ceilings. All feel like face of the moon. I've tried everything to strip; forget it. Question, is there such a thing as like 1/4" or 1/8" real nice smooth plaster sheets to cover??? or do I have to go with drywall. (hate taped seems) Jimmy
