Last weekend I was applying Ace Polyurethane-Glossy Finish to a kitchen table we bought at a flea market (great bargain!!), but I did so in my favorite shirt, thinking it was a small job and I couldn't possibly get any on me. Well, it was windy and it ended up spattering, so of course I got it on me!

Does anyone know how I can remove polyurethane from a 55% Linen/35% Rayon blend? There are about 4-5 spots and all are the size of a nickle or smaller.

I would appreciate any tips you have. I REALLY don't want to have to scrap this shirt.

Thanks!
Mary

Think you're out of luck here. I would try soaking and scraping it off. If you use any kind of chemical remover, it will destroy the rayon fiber. Sorry
